Cook Time 25 minutes

Ingredients

For brushing the tops

  • 1 egg

  • whipped cream, fresh berries or jam

Instructions

  • Mix the dry ingredients together. Pinch the cold butter and add to the mix. Add the cream and the chopped liquorice. Mix as swiftly as possible into a dough to avoid viscosity.
  • Divide the dough in two and make two round cakes on baking paper with scattered flour. Divide the cakes into triangles with a pastry wheel without separating the pieces.
  • Brush gently with a beaten egg. Oven bake at 200 degrees for approximately 20 minutes. Check the scones after 15 minutes. If the base is beautifully brown and feels solid, the scones are ready.
